Referee Training Thank you for volunteering your time to be a youth soccer referee. Not only is it fun and rewarding work, it is the best seat in the house! This website is designed to help answer your questions and to give you the tools to be better informed and better trained. If you find incorrect information, or cannot find an answer to your question, please contact one of our senior referees.

Referee Training

Scheduled Dates
Antelope training will be at the North County Community Room (Elkhorn and Don Julio).


U6 and U8 Referee
  • July 31, 2010
  • 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
This course is for all U6 and U8 Referees and is also the first-half of the Basic Referee Course.

  • 6:00 - 10:00 PM
This course is for all U6 and U8 Referees and is also the first-half of the Basic Referee Course.

Basic Referee (U10 and help U12)
Must also attend U6/U8 Referee as a prerequisite.

This course is for all referees who will be officiating U10 and U12 games. Please note that you must take the U6/U8 Referee course first followed by this class.

REFEREE PRESEASON MEETING
August 23, 2010

6:00 PM
This is a mandatory meeting for all Antelope AYSO referees. We'll talk about this season, changes to the Laws of the Game. And, best of all, we'll give out free referee stuff!
U6 and U8 Official
There are many dates to choose from in Davis

  • September 6, 2010 @ 6:00 - 9:00 PM
  • September 14, 2010 @ 6:00 - 9:00 PM
  • September 16, 2010 @ 6:00 - 9:00 PM

Basic Referee
There are many dates to choose from in Davis. For these classes, it is not necessary to attend the U6/U8 Referee class first. These training days are longer and include all of the training needed.
  • September 5, 2010 @ 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Sep 7 and 9, 2010 (both days) @ 5:30 - 10:00 PM
  • September 19, 2010 @ 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

  • All three days
  • September 20, 2010 @ 6:00 - 10:00 PM and
  • September 23, 2010 @ 6:00 - 10:00 PM and
