Offside Explained
Offside - also known as Law 11 - can be a confusing concept to understand - for players, parents, coaches, and even referees. The link below is a tutorial which does an excellent job at explaining the basics of offside. Even if you think you know Law 11, watch the tutorial and I bet you will learn something new.

Offside is only applied to the U10 division and older.

U8 Official Class

This course is for all U5 to U8 Officials. It also is Part 1 of the Basic Referee Course for U10 and U12 Referees.

This course is for all U5 to U8 Officials. It also is Part 1 of the Basic Referee Course for U10 and U12 Referees.

Basic Referee Course (U10 and U12) - U8 Official required first
  • Monday, Aug 11th, 2014
  • 6pm to 10pm
  • North County Community Room (where registration was at Elkhorn and Don Julio)
This course is Part 2 of the Basic Referee Course for U10 and U12 Referees. Part 1 is the U8 Official Class and is required before you attend this course.

  • 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM

  • 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

This training clinic is for the U10 and U12 coaches. Part 1 will be the classroom portion of the training with Part 2 including the outdoor portion. Please wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes as we will be doing some field work.

U6 through U8 Coach
  • Tuesday, July 22, 2014 - Part 1
  • 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM
  • North County Community Room - where registration was held (map)

  • Thursday, July 24, 2014 - Part 2
  • 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM
